Those brilliant minds at Razer have been churning out gadgets and gizmo’s under their own brand for as long as I can remember, and personally, I love each and every one of their wares.
Little do most people know though, through their ‘Powered By Razer’ programme, they also lend their neon-infused knowhow to other companies and brands to give them a helping hand once in a while. We’ve seen the effects of the collabs with Microsoft (with the Habu which we broke with ages ago) and other high-profile brands, but now we have a new one with Everglide (makers of on the mousemats we reviewed a long time back).
Moving the Everglide more into the peripheral realm, we have the DKTBoard that is a standard QWERTY unit, that packs a compact, but no less useful, form-factor.
All the standard buttons are there, and it isn’t bogged down with the innumerable hot-keys that annoy us on other high end units.
It will come in Black and Silver, with a pricetag US$70 when bought with a DKT mousepad, but the store is showing as ‘Out of Stock’ so who-knows when they’ll be available – but we’ll keep you posted.
