Brenthaven Fusion MB Black Review

Fusion MB Black Bag

Many people just stuff their laptops, books, work and things into any old bag they happen to have lying about at the time. This is neither good for the things in there, or for your style. Just because you like to frag on the go, doesn’t mean you have to look like a stereotypical geek, does it? So we’ve been spending time with the Brenthaven Fusion MB Black, a very stylish new laptop bag. More after the hop.

Hands-On: TaylorMade TP Red

(Pictures of prototypes have to be slightly blurry – its the law I think)

I recently had a go out with the, as yet unreleased, TaylorMade TP Red balls on a bright, crisp Winter’s morning in the South of England.

As any regular reader will know, I have a love for the Red’s as they are the ball that replaced my German-sourced Nike Double-D Distances’ in my personal bag after all of the latters had strewn themselves in almost every lake, bush and rabbit hole in Hampshire, so these new ones have a lot to live up to. Read on to read my initial reactions…

EVENT – RA @: Southampton Boat Show

January 22, 2008 · Leave a Comment

First of all, an apology. In September I went to the Press Day of the Southampton Boat show, so that I could cover it on here for you all to see. Now, as you may or may not realise, it is now January, and there has been no peep of coverage on the site so far. This is mainly due to the lack of mega-news from the event, and partly because my laptop wasn’t with me, so live-updating from the show was impossible and sorting through the pictures after the event was/is nigh-on impossible, but nothing to do with the champagne breakfast courtesy of Sealine.

So since it is such a slow month in the new product calendar here is a shot at giving you a glimpse of what happened, so sorry for the lack of pictures of canapes, Press Room coffee and the Sunseeker Private Lounge, but delve into a few carefully selected sneak-shots of what was on offer from the main marine guys, and we’ll be back to cover it in more detail next year. More after the hop.

Orange SPV M3100 Review

During the summer, I was offered the chance to review one of the, then, new breed of smart-phones with slide-out QWERTY keyboards, the Orange SPV M3100. Now, normally we take a phone out into the real world for a few weeks, and get to know it and its quirks during that time, but with a phone like this, more time was needed. So 6 months later, what did we really think?

Continued after the break…

How is the new RA getting along?

January 22, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Well, you may have been waiting a while for news, but we know about your pain in anticipation for the launch of RandomlyAccessed v2.0.

We’re getting there, the layout is taking longer than we expected due to us wanting to make it unique, but completely user friendly, and as such the integration of the news and review systems hasn’t been undertaken yet (although this is a relatively easy process when it is begun).

The look and functionality we are aiming for is that of a start-page, so along with our superb content and comment, we are trying to integrate web-search and other useful tools and links so that RA is your launching platform for the web.

We will have 3 distinct content areas; news, reviews and a new blog category. This means we can continue providing you with the latest news and reviews of everything you need to live in this modern world, as well as provide you with previews, opinions and ideas from the land of consumer product testing.

We’ll be teasing you with screenshots of the final layout and the transition process in the very near future!

It isn’t everyday that my inbox is lighting up with news of a gaming system with 8GB of RAM, Quad-Core Q6600 processor, 750GB HDD, 22″ screen and a 8600GT 512MB graphics card, and thats quite surprising, because the price of this thing makes it an everyday kinda PC; £938 incl VAT (£799 Excl).

You can take home this beaut of a system right now, from their site, and the rest of the stats are after the hop.
